ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC : Driver dies in early morning crash on Saturday, 7th September 2024

One person is dead following a crash in Orangeburg County on Saturday morning.
Master Trooper Gary Miller with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened just before 7 a.m. on U.S. 21 (Rowesville Road) near Calhoun Street north of Rowesville. Miller said a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was heading south on U.S. 21 when it left the road to the right and overturned. The driver was the only occupant and died.
