Seven people, including four children, were injured in a traffic accident in uptown Charlotte Monday.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of N. Irwin Avenue and W. Trade Street. Officials confirmed that seven people were injured.
Two of the injured people were taken to Carolinas Medical Center with very serious injuries, according to medic. The other five were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries and are expected to be OK.
CMPD told WBTV that the two seriously injured patients were children.
No names or ages or have been released.
Investigators have not said what may have led to the crash or if any charges are being filed.
