Jefferson City,MO : 3 injured in JC crash Wednesday on December, Wednesday 13th 2017
Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Jefferson City.
Police reported the crash occurred at 6:53 p.m. at the intersection of Missouri Boulevard and South Ten Mile Drive.
The investigation showed Michael Christian, 50, of Jefferson City, was making a left turn from South Ten Mile Drive to travel west on Missouri Boulevard and crossed in front of Richard Bainer, 62, of Jefferson City. Bainer could not stop and crashed into the driver’s side of Christian’s vehicle.
Christian’s vehicle spun around after the crash and stopped in the middle of the road, and Bainer’s vehicle stopped in the eastbound right lane.
Christian and Bainer had no reported injuries, but three passengers with Christian reported injuries. Patrica Sipes, 40, and Joyce Brockes, 56, both of Jefferson City, were taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Also injured was Christine Mosher, 49, of Jefferson City.
The eastbound lanes at the intersection were both closed, and traffic was routed through the parking lot of Capital City Chrysler for about 45 minutes while emergency crews cleared the wreck scene. The westbound lanes were down to one lane during that time.
