Warren County ,MS : Randy Jenison Truck driver killed after 18 -Wheller tanker truck crash on Sunday night , May 17th 2015

The name of a truck driver who died Sunday in an 18-wheeler wreck has been released.


Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey identified the driver as Randy Jenison, of Louisiana.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Sunday along Interstate 20 west near the Bovina exit.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol said the tanker was carrying motor oil when it ran into the median and crashed into several trees.
Troopers said Jenison died at the scene.

Some of the oil spilled, but authorities said the public was not in any danger.

Crews spent several hours Monday morning clearing the wreck.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
