A Marionville man was injured in a motorcycle accident at 8:45 a.m. Friday on Interstate 44, five miles east of Mount Vernon in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Kyle G. Huse, 28, was flown by medical helicopter to Mercy Hospital Springfield with moderate injuries, the patrol said.

Huse was westbound when his motorcycle ran off the road and overturned, the patrol said.
