Santee, CA : Motorcyclist dies after crashing into parked car in Saturday around 5:45 p.m. July 26th 2014.

A motorcyclist suspected of being drunk plowed his speeding ride into a parked car in Santee and was killed, a sheriff's sergeant said Saturday.

Witnesses reported seeing a motorcyclist riding at a high rate of speed around 5:45 p.m. Friday on northbound Carlton Hills Boulevard north of Mission Gorge Road, Sgt. Michelle McPhail said.

The rider was only identified as a man who was about 30 years old.He hit a parked car, was ejected from the motorcycle, hit a telephone pole and landed back in the road, McPhail said. Deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to the crash and the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man's motorcycle continued northbound on the road after the rider was ejected and became lodged underneath a parked vehicle, McPhail said.
