WICHITA, KS : 2 students suffer minor injuries in NE Kansas school bus crash on Wednesday, 25th September 2024

Two students were injured in a school bus crash in Edwardsville, in northeast Kansas, on Wednesday afternoon.

The Edwardsville Police Department said the school bus was negotiating a curve in the road, turning right, when the right side of the bus left the road and struck a tree in a yard.

The tree damaged several windows in the bus, and two students reported minor injuries from falling glass. Edwardsville Fire EMS treated the two students on the scene and they were released.

The bus was carrying 17 students in total, ages 11 to 15, from the Bonner Springs-Edwardsville school district.
