Janesville, WI : One person dead and two others injuries in a crash on Interstate 39-90 in Janesville Saturday night, February 11, 2017

One person is dead and two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a crash on Interstate 39-90 in Janesville Saturday night, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

In a news release, officials said deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on the northbound side of the interstate near East Racine Street around 11:37 p.m. A 2006 Chevrolet Equinox left the roadway just north of the Racine Street overpass and rolled in the right ditch.

Officials said three people were in the car at the time of the crash. A passenger, a 24-year-old Chicago woman, was ejected from the vehicle and trapped underneath it. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, a 26-year-old Marshfield man, and a 46-year old passenger, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was taken to St. Mary's Hospital, officials said.

No one in the car was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the release said.
