TALLADEGA COUNTY, AL : 1 dead after motorcycle crash in Talladega County on Thursday, 10th October 2024

One man has died after an early morning motorcycle accident on Alpine Winterboro Road Thursday Oct. 10, near the Alpine community in Talladega County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified 29-year-old Cody Hester, of Talladega, as the victim.

ALEA says Hester was thrown off his motorcycle when a driver in a Dodge Ram crashed into his motorcycle. After the initial impact, officials say the motorcycle left the roadway, struck a ditch, and hit two trees.

At this time, ALEA is investigating what caused the crash.
