Homosassa, FL : Citrus County crash kills two, including Port Richey motorcyclist on U.S. 19 in Homosassa on Monday, 24th September 2018

A Port Richey motorcyclist and pedestrian from Citrus County were killed Monday morning in a crash on U.S. 19 in Homosassa.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 50-year-old Donald Glenn Moore was riding northbound on U.S. 19, near South Suffolk Terrace, around 11:45 a.m. when Michael Andrew Higgins, 28, failed to yield the right of way and walked into Moore's path.

Both Moore and Higgins died at the scene, FHP said.
