Brockton, MA : Another bicycle vs. car crash in Brockton area on Saturday September 24 2016

A bicycle was left bent and a person was left injured after a collision with a car in Brockton just before noon on Saturday.

The crash took place at the corner of Forest and Bouve avenues at 11:55 a.m.

Police said the collision resulted in minor injuries. A young man who was riding the bicycle apparently appeared to have suffered an ankle injury.

On Thursday afternoon, a child riding a bicycle in West Bridgewater suffered a significant head injury after he was struck by a car near 439 East Center St. The boy, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered a large gash on his forehead and was concussed, according to West Bridgewater Fire Lt. Lincoln Thibeault.
