COLUMBIA, SC : All lanes open after multiple-vehicle crash on EB I-26 on Wednesday, March 22nd 2017

Emergency crews have cleared the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 26 near Interstate 20 Wednesday morning.The crash occurred just after 6 a.m. Wednesday near the 107B mile marker. According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, all lanes of the highway were blocked.

It took about an hour and a half to reopen the highway.

Eastbound traffic is backed up past Piney Grove Road. Drivers should use caution in the area.
