FORD COUNTY, KS : Jetmore woman hurt in two-vehicle Ford County crash on Monday, December 19th 2016

A Jetmore woman was sent to the hospital after being involved in a two-vehicle crash 9½ miles south of Dodge City on Monday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Jared Boyk Ray, 19, Des Moines, Iowa, was driving a 1998 Honda CRV north on U.S. 283 when he crossed left of center and struck a southbound 2005 Mercury Mountaineer driven by Nancy Marie Nichols, 56.

Nichols was sent with injuries around 5 p.m. to Western Plains Regional Hospital in Dodge City.

Her condition was not available.

Ray and his passenger, Jaycob Scott Ray Yanez, 23, Waukee, Iowa, were not injured.

Everyone involved was wearing their seat belts.
