Nashville ,TN : Christian football player killed in crash on Thursday afternoon July 30th 2015

A Nashville Christian School football player was killed in a car crash Thursday afternoon.

According to the Tennessean, Mickey Martin and two of his teammates were driving home from practice when Martin lost control and drove over an embankment.

Coach Jeff Brothers said the other two players are recovering and are expected to be released from the hospital soon.

Martin was a junior wide receiver and defensive back at Nashville Christian.
