Denver, CO : Coal Creek Canyon crash injures one on Saturday, 29th September 2018

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a crash in Coal Creek Canyon that sent one person to the hospital via helicopter on Saturday morning.

State Trooper Tim Schaefer said the crash happened at about 10:45 a.m. on Colo. 72 at Hummingbird Lane.

Schaefer said investigation has revealed that a car struck a tree, and one person has been airlifted to a hospital. He had no information on whether drugs, alcohol or speed are factors in the crash.
