Gatlinburg ,TN : Three people injured after rental Jeep crash at Parsons Branch Road near Highway 129 on Friday ,may 29th 2015

According to a spokesperson with the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, three adults were injured in a rental Jeep accident on Parsons Branch Road near Highway 129.

The crash was reported to Blount County authorities around 7:00 p.m. Friday.

The driver of the Jeep, 37-year-old Jason Munna of Mississippi, was airlifted to UT Medical Center.

He is charged with DUI, violation of the open container law, reckless driving, and driving without a seat belt.

An unnamed passenger was also airlifted to UT Medical Center. A third passenger was taken by ambulance to the same hospital.

All six of the Jeep occupants are from Mississippi.
