McDowell County, WV : Two people were dead in a car crash on Route 52 on Sunday August 31st 2014
The names are released in a deadly car crash in McDowell County.
State Police tell 59 News the crash happened along Route 52 in Maybeury, Sunday morning.
Troopers say Raheem Bonds was driving the vehicle when he lost control and crashed into a guard rail.
He was killed along with Lauren Perdue, a passenger in the vehicle.
Another passenger, Markese London was not seriously hurt.
He was sent to Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
Troopers say the crash is most likely alcohol related..
The investigation is ongoing.
Two people were killed in a car crash Sunday, August 31.
Troopers at the Princeton detachment of the West Virginia State Police said three people were traveling from Cheers in Princeton back home to Northfork when they crashed on Route 52 near Switchback.
One man and one woman were killed and one man was sent to Bluefield Medical Center.
Troopers told us in a statement made by the survivor, the man said the driver was drunk and driving too fast on wet roads when they lost control of the car.
This incident remains under investigation by the McDowell County detachment of the West Virginia State Police.
