Springfield,IL : Victim identified in McDonough County fatal train crash on may, Thursday 25th 2017

Illinois State Police have now identified the victim of a train crash in McDonough County as Alfred G. Belles, 76, of Macomb, Illinois.
He suffered fatal injuries after turning off of a private driveway and into the railroad crossing, where he was struck by a westbound Amtrak passenger train.
An Amtrak train struck a vehicle at 7300 East on Highway 136 in McDonough County Thursday shortly after 11 a.m.
The Amtrak train was on its way to Quincy when the crash happened. None of the twenty-two passengers on the train were injured.
