St. Johns County, FL : 20-year-old St. Augustine man seriously injured in motorcycle crash on Saturday, 13th October 2018

A St. Augustine man was in critical condition early Saturday morning following a motorcycle crash in northern St. Johns County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 20 year old Dakota Schmidt was driving east on Longleaf Parkway on a Honda VTX motorcycle around 1:30 a.m. when he failed to navigate a curve and lost control. Schmidt hit a curb and was thrown from the motorcycle, according to FHP.
