REDDING, CA : Hit-and-run crash shuts down major Redding roadway on Thursday, 28th January 2021

A hit-and-run crash shut down a major road in Redding Thursday morning.

Redding Police officers shut down Bechelli Ln. at Cypress Ave. around 1:04 a.m. after a Honda Civic sheared a power pole.

Officers said it will remain closed for a few hours and are asking commuters to take an alternative route. Around that same time, the Redding Electric Utility reported outages in that area.
