Minneapolis ,MN : One person dead and another person injured after their vehicle rollover crash on Saturday afternoon July 26th 2014.

A Salina teen is dead and another person injured after their vehicle rolled on Highway 81 near Minneapolis on Saturday afternoon.The Kansas Highway Patrol said 18-year-old Reed William Ash was the passenger in the northbound 2006 Chevy HHR when its 17-year-old driver swerved onto the right shoulder for an “unknown reason.” The driver then over-corrected and the vehicle rolled through the median, finally landing on the southbound shoulder facing southwest, according to a highway patrol crash report.

Ash was killed; the driver was injured. She was taken to a Salina hospital for treatment, the highway patrol said.

The wreck happened shortly before 2 p.m. about 21/2 miles southeast of Minneapolis, according to the highway patrol.
