Monroe City,MO : Monroe City man injured in crash on December, Friday 22nd 2017

Gerald L. Reierson, 78, of Monroe City, went by ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., for treatment of moderate injuries suffered in a one-car crash at 12:26 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, in Lewis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Reierson was driving a 2000 Buick Park Avenue on U.S. 61 at Route B at La Grange. His car went off the left side of the road into the median, then became airborne and hit an embankment. Reierson was wearing a seat belt.

The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Lewis County Ambulance and Sheriff’s Departments, and the La Grange Police and Fire Departments.
