Boca Raton,FL: Troopers search for driver who killed man in I-95 hit-and-run crash on October, Friday 13th 2017

Florida Highway Patrol troopers are searching for a driver who they said drove away after striking a motorcyclist on Interstate 95.

The hit-and-run crash was reported shortly after 9:30 p.m.


Troopers said the victim, Kevin Scheinberg, 36, was riding his motorcycle north on I-95, just south of Yamato Road, when the driver of a dark-colored Chrysler 200 changed lanes and struck the left side of the victim's motorcycle.

The impact caused Scheinberg to lose control of his motorcycle and be ejected onto the roadway.

Authorities said the driver of the Chrysler stopped for a short time, but left after police and fire rescue crews arrived.
