Peoria, IL : One dead in multi-vehicle accident on War Memorial in Peoria on Monday, 25th November, 2019

One woman has died after a four-vehicle accident on War Memorial Drive shortly before 5 p.m. Monday.

According to Peoria police, officers were called to the intersection of War Memorial and Meadowbrook Road for the accident. Two individuals were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

A short while later, one person, an adult female, was pronounced deceased at a hospital, according to police. Two others were treated at the scene and released.

That area on War Memorial had been closed for about three hours before it reopened shortly before 9 p.m.
