New Haven,VT : Motorcyclist killed in 3-vehicle crash in Vermont on August, Saturday 26th 2017

Vermont State Police say a 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle crash in New Haven.

Authorities say Christopher Dusablon and 25-year-old Joshua Morris were riding their motorcycles northbound on Route 7 when they collided with one another and then struck a pickup truck driven by 35-year-old Jason Roberts. It happened shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday.

The impact of the vehicles caused Morris to be thrown from his motorcycle and Dusablon became lodged beneath the truck. Dusablon, of Essex Junction, was pinned under the truck until rescuers could remove him. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Morris, of Bakersfield, suffered a possible broken leg. Roberts, who’s from Rutland, wasn’t injured.

The crash caused Route 7 to be closed for several hours.
