Portland, OR : A 37-year-old Tualatin man died from a head-on crash on Oregon 22 on Monday, 9th April 2018

A 37-year-old Tualatin man died Monday from a head-on crash on Oregon 22 outside Sisters.

Michael T. Hunt had been driving east on the highway when a westbound vehicle crossed the center line and crashed into his Nissan Sentra, according to Oregon State Police. Paramedics declared Hunt dead on scene.

The driver of the second car, Tarah J. Fair, 27 of Redmond, was taken to a Bend hospital with serious injuries.

Oregon State Police said Fair's vehicle, a Kia Sorento, went out of control amid icy conditions at milepost 78. The crash occurred at about 8 a.m., roughly 20 miles west of Sisters.
