BOLTON, CT : 2 men dead following canoe accident in Bolton on Wednesday, 13th March 2024

Two men died from an overturned canoe incident in Bolton on Wednesday afternoon.

The two men were identified as Keith Mosher, 52, of Vernon, CT, and Marcus Sterling, 28, of Vernon, CT.

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said the canoe overturned in Lower Bolton Lake.

One of the men was pulled from the water and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The second man was pulled from the water and pronounced dead on scene.
