Key West, FL : Workplace accident leaves man in critical condition on Thursday, September 8, 2016

A man is in critical but stable condition after an accident Tuesday at St. Mary’s Basilica in Key West.

Pedro Quevedo, 60, was operating a winch to load a temporary office trailer onto a flatbed truck when the chain broke and links were sent flying across Windsor Lane and into a house on Virginia Street, according to Key West spokesperson Alyson Crean.
