FORT BELVOIR, VA : Police investigating hit-and-run crash in Fairfax County on Thursday, 9th November 2023

Police are searching for a driver they say struck an motorcyclist and kept driving Thursday morning. Fairfax County Police say the motorcyclist was hospitalized with injuries described as life-threatening.

Officers were called to the intersection of Fairfax County Parkway and Richmond Highway in Fort Belvoir around 5:30 a.m. for a report of a hit-and-run crash. Investigators say the motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was struck by a driver in a red sedan. The sedan did not remain on the scene of the crash.
