Polk City, FL : Kissimmee man dies in crash during I-4 storm Tuesday night on June 10, 2014

A Kissimmee man died Tuesday night after losing control of his vehicle in the rain on Interstate 4 and crashing into two fence posts and a tree.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Sean Eric Calloway, 31, was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion east near the rest stop at mile marker 46 around 6:10 p.m. He passed slower and stopped traffic in heavy rain, but then had to reduce speed and steer away from a collision, troopers said.

The Fusion then spun off the road and traveled onto the outside shoulder, where it kept going and collided with the fence posts and tree.

Calloway was transported to Heart of Florida Hospital in Davenport, where he later died.

Two passengers in the car, 25-year-old Sarangela Limonta and 7-year-old Tyler Limonta, sustained minor injuries. All were wearing seatbelts, the FHP said.
