Port Ludlow, WA : Bainbridge Island man dead, 3 others injured in vehicle crash on Highway 104 Wednesday, Sep 23, 2015
An 88-year-old Bainbridge Island man died and three others were injured in a vehicle crash near Port Ludlow.
Washington State Patrol officials say they responded to a head-on collision on Highway 104 after 2:15 p.m. Wednesday.
They say 73-year-old Charles Ellis Russell of Nordland was driving a Honda Pilot while heading west and crossed into the eastbound lane. The Honda collided with a Dodge pickup truck driven by 53-year-old Pamela Jonell Thresher of Suquamish.
The Bainbridge Island passenger in the pickup, Robert Frank Dawson, died at the scene.
Russell and 54-year-old pickup passenger Brett Frank Dawson of Silverdale were injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Thresher was taken to a Bremerton hospital for her injuries.
Authorities say no drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.
