CHARLOTTE, NC : I-85 SB reopens near I-77 following crash on Thursday, 16th August 2018

A crash closed part of Interstate 85 north of uptown Charlotte for a time Thursday morning.
The wreck happened just before 6:30 a.m. on I-85 southbound near I-77, closing the left lane on I-85, officials say. By 7:45 a.m., the roadway was back open.
Medic took one person to the hospital via emergency traffic.
Officials did not say how many people were involved in the wreck.
