Philippi, W.V : One person injured after a crash near the Sentinel Mine in Barbour County on Wednesday, July 27, 2016

One person was flown to an area hospital after a crash near the Sentinel Mine in Barbour County Wednesday.

The crash involved a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck, according to a Barbour County 911 official. It occurred about 4:14 p.m. on U.S. 119.

The tractor-trailer was hauling 24 tons of lime.

U.S. 119 is shut down at this time and will be closed for awhile, the official said around 5:15 p.m.
