Little Rock, AR : Police arrest man in fatal Little Rock hit-and-run crash on Tuesday morning, Oct 6, 2015

Police say they've arrested a man in a hit-and-run that killed another man walking home from a store in Little Rock after buying a birthday present for his brother.

The Little Rock Police Department said a 35-year-old man turned himself in Tuesday morning after warrants were issued for his arrest.

Police previously said that 29-year-old Ian Canham died after being struck Aug. 28 by a van crossing a convenience store parking lot that then fled the scene. Canham's mother has said he was walking home with the gift, and couldn't drive because of epileptic seizures.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports the suspect was listed Tuesday morning as an inmate at the Pulaski County jail, and that bail hadn't been set.
