Cash, AR : Driver seriously injured a two-vehicle crash on Highway 226 in Craighead County early Friday morning, December 11, 2015

Arkansas State Police and emergency responders to a two-vehicle crash near Cash early Friday morning.

Jonesboro E911 Dispatch said the crash happened on Arkansas Highway 226 and Highway 67. E911 Director Jeff Presley said the crash involved a pick-up truck and a semi truck.

Presley stated the driver of the pick-up is in serious condition. Emergency crews were unable to fly the male driver out due to the foggy conditions.

A haz-mat crew was also called to the scene after diesel tanks ruptured causing the leakage of about 150 gallons of fuel.

All traffic in the area was blocked for a time and rerouted.

The crash was one of several in Craighead County that occurred during very foggy conditions.

However, the cause of this crash is still being investigated.
