STODDARD COUNTY, MO : Campbell man killed in Stoddard County crash on Saturday, 24th February 2024

A man was killed Saturday afternoon after being involved in a single-vehicle crash in Stoddard County.

The crash happened around 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 24 on Highway 25, approximately 25 miles north of Bernie.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Reports, 73-year-old Christopher I. Lenko, of Campbell, was driving northbound when his car went off the left side of the road and hit a ditch.

Lenko was rushed to a hospital in Dexter, but did not recover from his injuries. MSHP said he died around 3:36 p.m.

According to MSHP, Lenko was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
