WICHITA, KS : 1 dead after crash early Monday on I-135 in Wichita on Monday, 18th September 2023

The Kansas Highway Patrol said a 44-year-old Valley Center man died in a crash Monday in north Wichita.

The crash happened on Interstate 135 near the North Junction around 12:30 a.m.

According to the KHP, a Jeep driven by Jason W. Sutcliffe was northbound in the left lane. Troopers say the Jeep left the road for an unknown reason and struck a Kansas Department of Transportation construction sign and guardrail. It overturned and came to rest on its right side.
