Wrangle Hill, DE : A crash that closed Wrangle Hill road for about two hours on Delaware State on Thursday, 5th September 2019
A Delaware City man died in a crash that closed Wrangle Hill road for about two hours on Thursday, Delaware State Police said Friday morning.
The man, 35, was found in an upside-down car along the road. He was wearing a seat belt, but was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Investigators said the man was driving north on Wrangle Hill Road (Del. 72) in Bear, approaching the intersection with School House Road, when he drove off the road, hit a guardrail and flipped his car into a ditch. Police say they don't think speed was a factor in the crash. They are still investigating the cause. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cpl. J. Breen of the Troop 2 Collision Reconstruction Unit by calling 302-365-8486.
