A Greenville County teen died Saturday night at Greenville Memorial Hospital shortly after a crash involving his bicycle and a vehicle on Old Augusta Road.
Takevis Rucker, 15, of 106 Prancer Avenue in Greenville, died at 8:38 p.m. According to the Greenville County Coroner's Office, he was struck by a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction at 8:13 p.m.
Rucker was taken by the Greenville County EMS to Memorial Hospital, where he died. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, according to the coroner's report.
The incident remains under investigation by the Greenville City Police Department and the coroner's office.
