The two people who died in a crash Friday night in Chippewa County have been identified as a couple from Red Wing, Minn.
Catherine McEathron, 64, and Gerald K. McEathron, 60, were pronounced dead after crashing their vehicle while traveling southbound on Highway F in the town of Tilden, northwest of Chippewa Falls. Their vehicle traveled left of center on a hill and struck a northbound cement truck head-on. The accident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. Friday.
The driver of the cement truck was not injured.
