HIGHLANDS, TX : Driver arrested after hit-and-run injures Goose Creek CISD student in Highlands on Tuesday, 19th November 2024

A 17-year-old Goose Creek CISD student was injured Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run incident while crossing the street to board a school bus in Highlands.

Authorities say 61-year-old John Wesley Williams was driving a 2007 Dodge Ram Truck in the 2800 block of North Battlebell Road when he disregarded the bus’s flashing red lights and stop signs.
