LOUISIANA, MO : Pike County crash injures two Louisiana teens on Sunday, 22nd March, 2020

An early Sunday morning crash in Pike County injured two Louisiana teens.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2012 Buick Regal driven by Alexis N. Harp-Epperson, 21, of Louisiana, and a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Olivia E. Hutt, 17, of Louisiana, were northbound on Mo. 79 at 12:20 a.m. when the front of the Buick hit the rear of the Pontiac. The Pontiac traveled off the left side of the road and hit a tree, the patrol said, and Harp-Epperson fled the scene on foot.

Hutt and a 14-year-old female passenger from Louisiana were taken by private vehicle to Pike County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
