JOHNSON PARK, CA : Bicyclist killed in collision with SUV in Shasta County on Monday, 3rd July 2023

A bicyclist iwas killed after colliding with a vehicle in Shasta County.

The crash happened just after 9 p.m. Monday on Highway 299 east of Rocky Ridge in the Johnson Park area.

Redding CHP told Action News Now officers arrived on scene around 9;40 p.m., about thirty minutes after the call came in.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV involved in the collision was towed away.
