Delaware County, OH : One woman dead after a multi-vehicle crash Route 36 and Condit Road on Thursday January 14 2016.

One woman is dead after a multi-vehicle crash east of Sunbury.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the woman, 62-year-old Suzanne Baird of Fredericktown, failed to yield at the intersection just after 5 p.m. Thursday. Her vehicle was struck by a dump truck, operated by 57-year-old Nathan Shellenbarger of Mount Vernon. Baird’s vehicle spun around and hit two other cars. The dump truck went into a used car lot, striking two other cars.Crews worked at the crash scene, State Route 3/U.S. Route 36 and Condit Road, for hours until the road was reopened at about 10 p.m. Thursday.
The Patrol and the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the accident.
Troopers say Baird was wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash.
Alcohol/drug use is not believed to have been a factor in the crash, they say.
