Jefferson City, MO : Five injured in I-70 rollover crash on Tuesday, March 7th 2017

Five people, including three children, were injured in the I-70 crash at mile marker 117 on Tuesday.A driver and two passengers suffered serious injuries. One of the passengers, a 13-year-old girl, was flown by helicopter to University Hospital. The other two victims endured moderate injuries.
One of the vehicles attempted to pass the other, but they collided. The driver who tried to pass, 31-year-old Demetres Washington of Columbia, then lost control of the car, hit a guardrail, and overturned. Washington was the driver who suffered serious injuries.
According to the crash report, everyone who suffered an injury did not wear a seat belt.
