Pierce County, WI : 2 transported to hospital in Pierce County, Wisconsin crash on Tuesday, 12th February 2019

Two people were injured in a crash in rural Pierce County, Wisconsin Monday, according to a release from the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.

The release said deputies were called at about 3:40 p.m. on the report of a collision at Pierce County Road E and 690th Avenue.

The sheriff's office said a Ford Focus driven by Kent Smith was eastbound on 690th Avenue when his vehicle was struck by a Nissan Armada that was northbound on County Road E. The Nissan was driven by Kendra Behnam.

The release said Smith was taken to Regions Hospital by ambulance for undetermined injuries. Behnam was taken to River Falls Area Hospital.

Two juvenile occupants in Behnam's car were uninjured in the crash.
