San Ramon, CA : Three people injured in head-on crash on Sunday afternoon, April 17, 2016

Officers are at the scene of a head-on collision at an intersection, the California Highway Patrol said Sunday afternoon.

Officers responded to the intersection of Dougherty and Bollinger Canyon roads just after 4 p.m., a CHP dispatcher said. There, they found two vehicles with major front-end damage.

Two people, one with major injuries and one with moderate injuries, were taken to John Muir Medical Center, and a third person was taken to Kaiser Medical Center in Walnut Creek with moderate injuries, the dispatcher said.
