Winter Park, FL : Woman on bicycle hurt in hit-and-run-crash on Goldenrod Road in Winter Park on Tuesday, September 16, 2014

A 19-year-old woman riding her bike was hit by a driver, who then drove away. The hit-and-run happened on Goldenrod Road in Winter Park, just before 8 p.m. Tuesday when the woman was trying to cross the road. Witnesses said the driver stopped and asked if the victim was OK before he left. "He was like, 'Is she OK?' and, we were like, 'We don't think so,'" said witness Dedra Klymshyn. "We told him he should pull off and talk to police, and he was like, 'No,' and took off." Witnesses said the woman had a severe leg injury. She was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK.
