WILLOUGHBY, O : A 32-year-old woman died in the crash on Wednesday, 5th June 2019

A Cleveland man facing charges in a crash that killed a Euclid woman last month made his first court appearance Wednesday.

Donnell Ferguson II, 24, is charged with reckless homicide for the May 12 crash that killed 32-year-old Euclid resident Skye Brown. The crash happened as Ferguson was allegedly driving the wrong way on Interstate 271 north at Interstate 90. Prosecutors believe Ferguson was drunk at the time.The crash injured two other women, while two children were left shaken but uninjured. Ferguson was himself injured in the incident, with his attorneys claiming he suffered a broken kneecap and a fractured skull. His stay in the hospital delayed his arrest until this past weekend.
