TOLUCA LAKE, CA : Reseda motorcyclist dies in 134 Freeway crash in Toluca Lake on Monday, August 14, 2017

A motorcyclist was killed today in a crash on the Ventura (134) Freeway in Toluca Lake, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 4:25 a.m. on the eastbound freeway at Cahuenga Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.

The victim, a 38-year-old Reseda man, died at the scene, the California Highway Patrol reported. His name was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.

A witness reported that the motorcyclist crashed into the center divider, according to the CHP.

The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down the eastbound freeway for about four hours while an investigation was conducted.
